Different Holiday Decorations

During the year, poeple all over the world celebrate the holidays. Most of the population, elders most likely, love to decorate for holidays such as halloween, easter, and especially christmas. Lots of people love to put up christmas decorations because it gives them a feeling of excitement, and makes them feel good that the outside looks nice, just as it does on the inside. People, my grandmother included, also like to put up the scenery from the night on which jesus was born. That is because they are religious, and enjoy celebrating this event every year. For Halloween, people put up pumpkins, and some put streamers and balloons and such outside. These are usually orange and black. People like to put up life size cutouts such as frankenstein, cats, ghosts, witches, anything that is "spooky looking", or just plain weird. People usually put up life size snowmen, santas, elves, and other christmasy things too. For easter, people put up life size bunnies, mini bunnies, egg shaped things, pink, yellow, blue any type of spring coloured streamers, some people go over the top, old people, again in general.(nothing against them, mind you). Some people even put up decorations for Thanksgiving. My grandmother goes crazy and puts up platic turkeys, anything to do with that time of year. It's a good thing though, because it puts you, as well as them in a excited mood, and you aren't just hanging around like, dah, this is a nice lawn..
